The Dark Crystal is the evolution of crystaline silicon life forms into super computers as a spicie.  Like all life forms from the age of “Primo”, these life forms emerged from their Primordial stage and evolved into a modern and sophisticated robotic society. This period of the the Dark Expanse saga, tells their story.

Initially they were a life form that lived in harmony with other life forms “Light Crystalline“, but their logic turned them into “Dark Crystallines“.
